Jim Groom talks about the importance or archive. I found his lecture  extremely useful because he tells a lot about the future of technology. First off, archive is like any of your work stored somewhere. It can be as simple as a notebook or as advance as the internet. If I googled my name “Jordany Thomas”, it will yake a while considering I’m a nobody, but something about me would pop up (My facebook page for an example).  He brought up the wayback machine, which is a website which you can use to look at websites the way they used to look which I found neat. I loved his presentation and he made a lot good points. As for the ending of this semester, I will keep my internet archives. I love doing audio assignments, so I will be using soundcloud a lot. I may keep this blog to share with my friends and family, plus I am a CT major. I really enjoyed this class. I had a cool professor and friendly classmates. I think I am going to stay in touch with DS106.

I always wanted to experiment with voice over animations, so why not do it with my favorite anime and cartoon. It took a while to get use to iMovie but I managed to figure it out. What I did was a lot of blading, which basically means moving around the footage to match the sound of the auto. Goku, who is Brian in this scenerio owes vegeta, who is Stewie some money. Well. Goku doesn’t exactly come up with the money.

I absolutely loved Communication technology course. It was exactly what I thought it would be when I first registered. First off, I got a cool ass teacher, who was recommended to me. Second, the assignments are fun! I got to meet new people throughout the web with DS106, The daily creates were fun, and the assignments rocked. I surely am going to miss this class. Good thing I am a CT major because I have a feeling there is going to be more awesomeness coming my way. The assignment I loved the most was the Xtranormal assignment. I got to partner up with a classmate and we did a reenactment of a south park clip. If I was in charge of the class, there really is much I can change. The class was filled with awesomeness. Only thing I would probably change is making the class longer or more days. I’m definitely  recommended this class and professor to other students. Thanks for the experience Michael.

” Seven Things You Should Know About Creative Commons”   and “What is Web 2.0?” was a pretty long, boring, but interesting topic. From what I read and watched, web 2.0 is suppose to be more approachable for everyone to access. I knew stuff already like Bit-torrent, and all but I learned many knew things. Web 2.0 offers more sync able applications like Amazon, E-bay and Google. Web 2.0 started a whole new way for blogging. Its gives everyone access to create websites to share things like photos and media stuff. Another cool thing about the whole thing, is that Web 2.0 has an open forum for everybody to share their ideas, in my opinion to enhance online media.

On Sunday April 29, 2012 the Gospel Temple Church Of God held an event in honor of Trayvon Martin, who was killed by a neighborhood watch captain named George Zimmerman in February 26, 2012. The church located at 172 Decatur St., Brooklyn NY, held by Ron Harris

performed a couple Gospel music and had a stand of Skittles and Arizona Ice Tea. They gave Trayvon a moment of silence, sang and danced to gospel music and that was pretty much the end of it. It was an extraordinary event.
